Plato Partnership are delighted to invite you to our second Plato Debate “Key Challenges in 2020 and Beyond.”

Held in the prestigious Simpson’s in The Strand, this year’s debate will cover some of the biggest questions facing all European market participants. From Brexit and the UK’s uncertain relationship with Europe, the future of capital markets with the growing presence of AI through to regulatory questions including the European Consolidated Tape, thoughts regarding the migration from continuous to auctions, how use of technology innovations in Execution is changing your business and how regulators adjust to the changing landscape.

This year we are excited to be joined by two keynote speakers: The Rt Hon. the Lord Peter Mandelson, former Labour Party Cabinet Minister under Tony Blair and European Commissioner for Trade, and Dr. James Tromans, Technical Director at Google.

We will also be joined by a panel of senior figures in UK and European market regulation, including Richard Fox, Head of Markets Policy, Financial Conduct Authority and Tilman Lueder, Head of Securities Markets, European Commission.
