The Plato Technology Summit format has been designed by the Plato Partnership, a group of 40 leading buy-side and sell-side firms. It’s based on buy-side and sell-side feedback to create a leading financial services technology-focused conference for market participants.

After a hugely successful inaugural conference, the Plato Technology Summit will return on 21 October 2024 at the Leonardo Hotel St Paul’s in London - a one-day conference with unique approaches for participants and sponsors that differentiates itself from other major industry conferences that are often filled with the same buy-side and sell-side panel discussions.

At this year’s Summit, Rebecca Healey, Managing Director of Redlap Consulting, will give a keynote speech launching new research into the implications of AI for capital markets.

The paper, entitled “AI: Beyond the Hyperbole” seeks to break down the transformative role artificial intelligence will play in shaping the future of capital markets. It cuts through the noise to offer deep insights into the real-world applications of AI, from optimising trading workflows to enhancing decision-making through generative AI.

The keynote will pose opportunities and challenges financial institutions face as they navigate this rapidly evolving landscape. It will provide a roadmap to leverage AI responsibly while keeping an eye on the regulatory shifts and ethical considerations that will shape tomorrow’s financial ecosystem. Whether you're in asset management, trading, or fintech, this paper and keynote will equip you with the knowledge needed to stay ahead in the AI-driven Fourth Industrial Revolution.

What to Expect

When we built the Plato Technology Summit, we wanted to avoid creating ‘just another finance conference’ populated with the same old panellists discussing the same old problems on repeat. We wanted to boost engagement and deliver real value to our attendees by forming a truly innovative format.
